Oak Creek police allege he struck a light pole, lied to officers.

A 19-year-old man received five citations after he allegedly left the scene of an accident and gave officers a fake name Friday afternoon.

According to a police report, the man was westbound on Puetz Road about 4 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left turn to Liberty Lane. His vehicle went on the curb and struck a city light pole.

Police said he abandoned the vehicle, which sustained moderate damage and flat tires, and fled southbound.
