Oak Creek Man Injured In Rollover Crash

An Oak Creek man lost control of his car and ended up in a marsh in Caledonia on Monday.

A 31-year-old Oak Creek man was injured after he lost control of the car he was driving at 6:59 a.m. Monday in the 8300 block of Douglas Avenue in Caledonia.

He was cited for driving too fast for conditions during a snowstorm, according to a report by the Caledonia Police Department.

The man told the police that he was driving his car southbound in the 8300 block of Highway 32 when he lost control of his car in the snow and went into the ditch. The car had rolled over and smoke was coming from it.

The Oak Creek Fire Department took the man to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Franklin.
