Movie Stopped After Man Arrested In Theater

Police: 18-year-old went into theater without a ticket and refused to leave.

South Shore Cinema had to stop a movie and give customers a refund after a man without a ticket refused to leave the theater and was forcibly removed by Oak Creek police Tuesday night, according to a police report.

Police say an 18-year-old Oak Creek man used profanities toward cinema employees after they confronted him for going into a movie without a ticket.

The man still refused to leave his seat when officers arrived about 9 p.m., despite warnings that he would be arrested, according to the report. Officers then physically removed him from his seat and arrested him for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
