Video game systems, video games, two computers, cell phones and a new iPod were among the electronics stolen in an apartment burglary in the 8000 block of S. Wildwood Drive.

Police say someone broke into the apartment, in the Apartment Homes of Wildwood complex, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

An 18-year-old woman told police she didn't notice anything missing until her brother returned home and found his Playstation 3 was stolen, as was an Xbox, seven video games and cell phone from his room.

The woman then realized she also had many items stolen, including a laptop, cell phone, iPod, camera and diamond bracelet, according to a police report.

The residents did not have renter's insurance, according to the report. Police checked at GameStop to see if anyone tried to sell or trade the items, but none had done so.
