Oak Creek BP Robbed at Gunpoint

Two men pointed a gun at a clerk's head while they took money from a drawer and then fled the store early Monday morning, according to police.

Oak Creek police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Monday morning at , 1225 W. Rawson Ave.

According to the department logbook, two men approached a clerk from behind with a handgun just before 3 a.m. They directed him to an enclosed area behind the counter and ordered him to open a cash drawer.

While jabbing the handgun to the back of the clerk's head, the men took about $200 from the drawer and ran out of the store. They were last seen running westbound toward 13th Street, and possibly went south on 13th, according to police.

One of the suspects was described as a black male in his teens, slim build, about 5-foot-8 and wearing a black T-shirt, a black cap with the letters "DC" on the front and sunglasses, according to the logbook.

The other was also described as a black male in his teens, slim build, about 5-foot-3, and also wearing a black T-shirt, black "DC" cap and sunglasses.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspects. It was unknown if they fled in a vehicle.
