Oak Creek Home, Business Burglarized

Dal-Tech burglarized for second time in a week.

Two separate burglaries have been reported in Oak Creek over the last three days.

According to Oak Creek police reports:

A resident returned to his home in the 8400 block of S. Howell Ave. about noon Friday and found a door kicked in. It appeared that someone entered the master bedroom, as clothes were moved and dresser drawers were opened, but nothing was believed to be missing.

An officer checked nearby residences and found them secure. There were no witnesses to the break-in.

In another incident, someone cut a fence at , 2650 E. Ryan Road, entered a vehicle and stole a stereo.

One of the vehicle's windows was broken in the theft, which occurred between 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. The estimated damage and loss was $1,250.

It was the second time in a week the business had been burglarized.
