$500 cash bail? Are his kids in protective custody?

I truly hope he does not have access to those kids and that they are safe. In cases like this, often times the outcome is not good and the abuser will retaliate to a greater degree. I pray for the safety of those kids.

I agree. Clearly the person is more upset about being caught and charged with abusing that the act of committing the crime. I'd be afraid of retaliation.

I don't know the exact details of this particular situation but am fairly certain he would not be allowed to be with his kids.

There should be a restraining order against this abuser.

I checked and he does have a no-contact order in place as it relates to his children.

I have had to deal with the state and child abuse before . He will have those kids back in no time. They will recommend some drug treatment that he wont go to or an anger class which he wont go to . Then they will lift the no contact and it will happen all over again a year later. Our state and they way they protect kids is pathetic.
