Oak Creek Man Charged With Child Abuse

Suspect allegedly told police "I should have beat them more."

A 40-year-old Oak Creek man is facing child abuse charges after allegedly beating his two daughters on multiple occasions inside their home.

The man, who Patch is not naming to protect the identity of the victims, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with two counts of child abuse. If convicted, he faces up to 12 years in prison and $20,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

The victims told police their father, for little reason, beat them on many occasions inside their Oak Creek home.

On one occasion, the man beat one of his daughters because she invited a friend over.

He hit the girls, kicked them and pulled their hair during the altercations.

After officers arrested him and took him to the , the man told police "I should have beat them more."

The man is out of jail on a $500 cash bond while awaiting trial.
