On May 12, the victim, his girlfriend and friends were walking out of Spirit's Tavern in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue when Havey came up and grabbed the girl's arm and told her he wanted to give her a ride home.

Her boyfriend became upset with Havey and the two exchanged words. The group dispersed when a South Milwaukee police squad car came into the area.

The victim and his friends went around the corner and waited for Havey and his friends to leave, but they remained in the area. They decided to walk to their car, and while passing by, one of Havey's friends began to explain his friend's behavior. But then Havey punched him in the right eye and the victim fell to the ground.

The victim suffered four orbital bone fractures from the punch.

Havey is free on $2,500 bond while awaiting trial.
