Oak Creek Police Arrest Man Wanted For Helping Illegal Immigrants Cross Border

last week arrested a 43-year-old Milwaukee man who had an extraditable warrant for smuggling illegal immigrants across the Mexican border, according to the department logbook.
After an officer approached his vehicle about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the , 6360 S. 13th St., the man provided a fake name and address, according to the report. He then admitted he was trying to stay out of his custody for his daughter's birthday.
He was taken to the federal courthouse in downtown Milwaukee and turned over to local U.S. Marshals, according to the report.
