One Injured in Car Accident Wednesday
Police say van hit truck at Howell/Drexel intersection.
A 26-year-old woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday after she hit a truck at the intersection of Howell and Drexel avenues, according to .
The woman was slowing to a stop at the intersection when her brakes locked up, according to a police report. She slid and hit a truck driven by a 63-year-old man, who was stopped at the light and waiting to make a left turn onto westbound Drexel.
The woman was taken to Wheaton Franciscan after complaining of neck pain, police said. Two children in her car were unhurt, as was the driver of the truck.
