Pedestrian Struck at Ryan Road Intersection

He was taken to the hospital with lacerations to head, broken right femur.

A pedestrian was struck Friday morning near the Shell gas station on Ryan Road.

Police said a 33-year-old man was eastbound on Ryan Road about 4:25 a.m. - traveling less than the speed limit because of the rain - when a 31-year-old man ran out in front of him.

The driver couldn't stop in time and struck the man, who was taken to Froedtert Hospital with lacerations to the head and a broken right femur, according to a police report.
