Home Depot was already investigating several similarly-suspicious purchases and got the license plate number of the suspect's truck. When another call came into the West Allis Home Depot store on Thursday for a large order - about $4,400 worth of items - police were contacted.

West Allis police took the 36-year-old into custody when he showed up at the store to pick up the order. He was then taken to the Oak Creek Police Department, and then to the county jail.
