Police Investigate 27th Street Break-Ins

Aldi and the Salvation Army Family Store were reportedly broken into over Labor Day weekend.

Oak Creek and Franklin police believe break-ins at two 27th Street businesses over the Labor Day weekend may be related, according to a Franklin NOW report

Police say Aldi, 6810 S. 27th St., and the Salvation Army Family Store, 6341 S. 27th St., were broken into about the same time, the newspaper reported.

Officers are attempting to identify a man seen on a surveillance video smashing a window at Aldi just after 10 p.m. Sept. 1, according to the report. A large amount of blood was found outside an office window.
