Police Make Drunken Driving Arrest At Park

Police say 29-year-old missed his apartment complex by a few blocks.

An alleged drunken driver told police he thought he was home when he pulled into Greenlawn Park early Monday morning.

According to a police report, officers stopped a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man after it pulled into , 7628 S. Howell Ave., about 2:30 a.m. Monday - past the park's closing time of 10 p.m.

The man told police he thought he was pulling into his apartment complex, which was a few blocks away, according to the report.

Police said he had a preliminary blood-alcohol content of .24, three times the legal limit.
