Police Search For Thanksgiving Morning Robbery Suspect

A suspect handed a Walgreens employee a note about 7 a.m. stating he had a gun. Police searched the area but could not immediately find him.

Police are investigating an attempted robbery Thanksgiving morning at the Walgreens near 27th and College.

The suspect handed an employee a note about 7 a.m. stating he had a gun, according to the Oak Creek Police Department logbook. No gun was seen.

He was described as a white man in his 40s, about 5-foot-8, medium build and wearing an orange knit camp and a tan jacket, according to the logbook. He was last seen on College Avenue. Police searched the area but could not immediately find him.
