Prison Time For Man Who Sexually Assaulted Oak Creek Teen

A 23-year-old man was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography.

A 23-year-old Milwaukee man has been sentenced to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty earlier this summer to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Oak Creek girl he met on the Internet.

Matthew Elmore also received five years probation and extended supervision, and the court left open the possibility of additional jail time, according to online court records.

In June, Elmore pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography. According to a criminal complaint, Elmore exchanged nude pictures with the girl and had sexual intercourse with her on two occasions in her Oak Creek home.

After initially denying any sexual contact, police confronted him with the victim's statement and her mother's recorded phone conversation in which he admitted knowing the victim was 15 years old and having sex with her, according to the complaint.

Elmore told police he "doesn't always jump right into being 'Mr. Pervy' with girls," but that he was acting that way when he and the victim exchanged nude photos of each other.
