Oak Creek Motel Case Ties Cocaine, Prostitution

Woman told undercover cop police were in the area, then he showed her his police credentials.

A 36-year-old Milwaukee woman is facing felony charges after she was allegedly caught in an prostitution sting with cocaine in her motel room.

Jennifer J. Holman was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of prostitution. If convicted, she could face up to 13 years in prison and $35,000 in fines.

On Dec. 20, an undercover police officer made contact with Holman after seeing two ads on Backpage.com advertising for escort services. She agreed to meet him at , where she would perform sexual acts for $125.

When the officer arrived at the hotel, she locked the door behind him, saying police were in the area. Shortly afterwards, the officer showed his police credentials and Holman was arrested.

Police found a glass pipe used for smoking cocaine in the room along with more than four grams of cocaine hidden in a Fig Newton wrapper. Holman insisted the drugs weren't hers, but told the officer she touched it so it would have her fingerprints on it.

She will make her initial appearance in court Feb. 29.
