Report: Oak Creek Man Arrested During Sex Offender Sweep

Sheriff's deputies found dolls and toys inside home.

Milwaukee County sheriff's deputies arrested a convicted sex offender living in Oak Creek after finding suspicious items in his house on Halloween weekend, according to a report from Fox 6.

The sheriff's department did a sweep of hundreds of homes in the Milwaukee area to make sure that sex offenders were abiding by rules set forth for them - they are not supposed to have lights on during the holiday and cannot put up Halloween decorations, the report said.

Inside the Oak Creek man's home, officers found dolls and toys, a plastic baby in a crib and boxes of even more dolls, according to the report. Authorities are still investigating the man, who was arrested on suspicion of violating his probation.
