Shorewood Man, Allegedly En Route to Deliver Drugs, Caught in Oak Creek

Officer found 67 grams of marijuana in 20-year-old man's car.

A 20-year-old Shorewood man is facing a felony drug charges after police found 67 grams of marijuana in his car when he was pulled over for speeding in Oak Creek.

According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 4, Xavier J. Buesing was pulled over by an Oak Creek police officer in the 3900 block of S. 13th St. for speeding. Upon reaching the car, the officer could smell fresh marijuana. The officer then searched Buesing’s car and found three bags of the drug.

Buesing told the officer he was on his way to deliver the drugs to one of his friends and that he has been selling marijuana for several months to pay for school and living expenses, the complaint said.

He was charged Tuesday with one count of possession with intent to deliver THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. If convicted, he faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
