Sikh Shooting Victims to be Remembered at Vigil in Milwaukee

The vigil will be held at 8 p.m. at Cathedral Square in Milwaukee. It is the first event scheduled to show support for Sunday's shooting victims.

As news about the at the in Oak Creek began to spread, so to did efforts to show support and provide help for the victims.

Supporters will be holding a candlelight vigil to “spread peace and show support for the victims and family members of the Sikh Temple Shootings,” at Cathedral Square Park at North Jefferson Street and East Kilbourn Avenue in Milwaukee at 8 p.m., according to event posted on Facebook.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the vigil was organized by Greendale’s Tricia Ward and two friends and that a similar vigil was organized for Madison.
