Teenager Attacked in Oak Creek Park

Up to six boys jumped a teenager Wednesday afternoon and stole money from him, police said.

A 16-year-old was jumped by up to six boys in an Oak Creek park Wednesday afternoon.

According to an Oak Creek police report, three residents in the 300 block of E. Parkway Estates Drive witnessed the attack about 1:25 p.m. in a park near the street. The area is near the Oak Leaf Trail west of East Middle School.

The teenager appeared to be OK, according to the report. One of the boys went through his pockets and stole a $20 bill.

The boy goes to Bay View High School and was granted early release, police said. He was walking his dog at the time of the attack.

Police are still investigating.
