Teenagers Allegedly Smoke Marijuana In Front of Sheriff's Deputy's House

16-year-old cited for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia.

A group of five teenagers picked the wrong place to smoke marijuana Thursday night.

An off-duty sheriff's deputy called Oak Creek police about 9:10 p.m. saying five boys were in a car in front of his house, near , smoking marijuana, according to a police report.

Police arrived and found a car door open and the odor of burning marijuana in the air, the report said. A glass pipe was visible on the center console, according to police, and suspected marijuana was found in the back seat.

A 16-year-old Oak Creek boy was cited for marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession after admitting the pot and pipe was his, police said.

All five teenagers were turned over to their parents.
