Santokh Singh was released from the hospital Wednesday after spending more than a week recovering from surgeries.

Santokh Singh, who was injured in the Aug. 5 attacks at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, has been released from Froedtert Hospital.

Singh, 50, suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest that penetrated his diaphgragm, stomach and liver. Those injuries were repaired through two surgeries.

His family asked the media to respect their privacy as he continues his recovery.

Two other temple shooting victims remain at Froedtert: police Lt. Brian Murphy is in satisfactory condition while Punjab Singh remains in critical condition.

A fourth victim was treated and released on the day of the shooting.
