3 Vehicles, Jackknifed Semi Involved in Howell Ave. Crash

No one was injured in Friday afternoon accident near Milwaukee Area Technical College.

A four-vehicle accident Friday afternoon at Howell Avenue and Jewell Street caused a semi to jackknife but did not result in any serious injuries.

According to a police report, a driver was southbound on Howell Avenue about 1:30 p.m. when she swerved into the semi, which then jackknifed into a third vehicle, which in turn hit a fourth vehicle.

The semi struck a light pole in the median, resulting in exposed wires, and went into a ditch. Two other vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

The driver of the first vehicle had minor injuries but declined an ambulance. No others were injured.
