While investigating the incident, police discovered break-ins occurred at Hein Electric Supply locations in Oconomowoc and Menomonee Falls, and that Stolzel sold stolen items in Waukesha County via Craigslist.
Stolzel and Carlson also sold a large amount of copper wiring to Pellman Iron & Metal Company in Cudahy.
Both admitted to the Oak Creek burglary, saying they needed money to fuel their drug habits. Stolzel said they chose the location by doing a random Google search, then took his mother's car and backed into the garage door until it popped off the hinges.
He will make his initial appearance in court March 30.
