Woman Trying to Break Into Apartment Arrested, Jailed

The woman told police she suspected her ex-boyfriend of cheating on her and allegedly spray painted his door and tried to break into his home.

A woman who allegedly spray painted and tried to break into her ex-boyfriend's home was arrested on three charges and taken to Milwaukee County Jail. 

According to police reports released last week, officers arrived at the 8600 block of S. Ventana Drive about 6:30 a.m. July 20 to find the woman prying at an apartment door with a crowbar. 

Police say she spray painted the door black and caused about $4,300 in damage to the home. The woman told police she suspected her ex-boyfriend cheated on her and she came back to the apartment to get her belongings. 

Police arrested her for attempted burglary, possession of burglarious tools and criminal damage to property.
