County Supervisor Will Lead Bike Ride

'Pedal in the Park with Pat' is in its fifth year.

Milwaukee County Supervisor Pat Jursik will hold her fifth-annual "Pedal in the Park with Pat" at 6 p.m. June 16.

Jursik has held the ride to call attention to the trails within the Milwaukee County Parks system and to coordinate efforts to improve them. 

This year's event will be along the Oak Leaf Trail, beginning at the Sheridan Park Pavilion, at the corner of Layton Avenue and Sheridan Drive in Cudahy.

Participants will visit the northern part of Grant Park and return in time for a concert by the Bluegrass Allstars at 6:30 p.m. Round trip distance is about 5.3 miles.

The free event is open to all county residents and bicycle enthusiasts.
