The South Milwaukee Public Library has 10K books for sale! The books range from 5 cents to 5 dollars and are a tax-deductible purchase.
The next book sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is scheduled for September 10 from 9am to 3:30pm. After that, the schedule for book sales is as follows:
- Monday, Oct 3 from 9:30 to 11am.
- Saturday, Nov 12 from 9am to 3:30pm
- Monday, Dec 5 from 9:30 to 11am (This one's good for holiday shopping.)

At the current time the library says most of the books are children's and recent adult fiction. Just go into the library's basement and there you will see all 10K books organized by subject matter. Cash or check only.
