Sentencing Delayed For Former Oak Creek Youth Football Treasurer

Dennis Schulte was convicted of felony theft.

The sentencing for former Oak Creek Youth Football Treasurer Dennis Schulte, which was scheduled for Friday, has been delayed three weeks because his attorney was ill and unable to appear, according to online court records.

Schulte was scheduled to be sentenced today about two months after he was convicted of stealing from the organization. The sentencing has instead been pushed back to Dec. 22.

Schulte was found guilty in October of a felony charge of theft from a business setting. He told police he used tens of thousands of dollars from the Oak Creek Youth Football League to pay off his vehicle loan and also to pay for a vacation to Mexico, according to a report from WTMJ-TV.
