Forum Is Your Chance to Ask Questions of Oak Creek Mayoral Candidates

Residents can participate through live stream on Oak Creek Patch.

Want to know where the Oak Creek mayoral candidates stand on the issues?

Residents have a chance to ask their questions to Oak Creek mayoral candidates Tom Michalski, Mark Verhalen and Steve Scaffidi during a forum Feb. 8.

The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at the and will be broadcast live on Oak Creek Patch.

Audience members can submit questions between 6:30 and 7 p.m. for a forum panel to review. Questions must pertain to city of Oak Creek issues only - any personal questions will not be considered.

For the first time, residents can also participate from home. Oak Creek Patch will accept readers' questions that will be submitted to the forum panel. Questions are then selected at random and presented to the candidates.

The schedule for the forum is as follows:

7 to 7:15 p.m. - candidate introductions and opening statements.

7:15 to 8:30 p.m. - candidate question-and-answer period.

8:30 to 8:45 p.m. - candidate closing statements.

8:45 to 9 p.m. - candidate meet-and-greet session.

So mark your calendars now and, if you can't make it in person, be sure to come back to Oak Creek Patch that night and participate in the action!

The forum comes a few weeks before the primary on Feb. 21. .
