Forum Tuesday For County Supervisor Candidates

But Franklin Alderman Steve Taylor said he may only attend a portion of the one-hour forum.

A candidate forum for 9th District Milwaukee County supervisor candidates will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Root River Center, 7220 W. Rawson Ave., Franklin.

However, it may include only one of the two candidates.

Oak Creek Alderman Ken Gehl said he will attend; the other candidate, Franklin Alderman Steve Taylor, said he had a prior engagement but will try to make at least a portion of the one-hour event.

Taylor criticized the event organizers for not formally inviting him, saying he did not learn of the specifics of the event until contacted by Oak Creek Patch yesterday.

Larry Gamble of Wisconsin Grandsons of Liberty, the tea-party group organizing the forum, disputed that, saying Taylor was invited.
