Forum Will Focus On South Shore Development

Bolender will take part in 'The South Shore Option' forum.

Economic development on the South Shore will be the subject of a forum Wednesday at the Cudahy Family Library.

The event will serve as a "one-stop" forum for residents to hear from economic development staff and the community development authorities of Oak Creek, Cudahy, St. Francis and South Milwaukee, according to a news release.

The forum will include Oak Creek Mayor Dick Bolender, County Supervisor Pat Jursik and the mayors of Cudahy, St. Francis and South Milwaukee, all of whom will speak about economic development plans taking place throughout the South Shore.

Jursik will provide updates on the , , and the . She will also explain the concept.

Each city will have booths displaying aerial maps, mock-ups, elevations and planning materials of current or planned projects.

The forum will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the winter garden room of the library, 3500 Library Drive.
