Jursik Invites Constituents to Annual Bike Ride

Pedal in the Park with Pat, which begins at Sheridan Park in Cudahy, calls attention to the condition of bike path and parks.

County Supervisor Pat Jursik, who represents the South Shore and a portion of Oak Creek on the Milwaukee County Board, is inviting residents to a free bike ride June 14.

The sixth-annual "Pedal in the Park with Pat" will begin at 6 p.m. at the Sheridan Park Pavilion, Area 1 (Layton Avenue and Sheridan Drive in Cudahy). The group will travel along the Oak Leaf Trail, visiting the northern part of Grant Park and returning to Sheridan Pavilion in time for a 6:30 p.m. concert by the Bluegrass Allstars. Round-trip distance is about 5.3 miles.

The ride calls attention to the condition of the multi-use path and the parks and helps coordinate efforts to improve them.
