Jursik To Speak on Developing Milwaukee-Chicago Corridor

Forum will be held June 8 in Wind Point.

One of Oak Creek's county supervisors, Pat Jursik, will be part of a June 8 forum discussing the pros and cons of cultivating an urban corridor between Milwaukee and Chicago.

“There’s a growing interest in strengthening our north-south corridor connection to Chicago," Jursik said in a news release. "The South Shore stands to benefit from these efforts, and I’m pleased to participate in this forum.”

She said assets like Mitchell International Airport, the fastest-growing airport in the nation last year, and the busy Port of Milwaukee must be leveraged to benefit the region.
