Live Blog Replay: Drexel Town Square Public Hearing

Key decisions loom on the proposal for a town center near Drexel and Howell avenues.

The Oak Creek Common Council held a public hearing Tuesday night on plans for Drexel Town Square, the "new downtown" proposed near Drexel and Howell avenues.

In addition to residents, aldermen also heard from the developers and architects leading the project.

Several key votes loom on the Drexel Town Square plans and a new city hall-library building, which will be built in the development. The proposal also calls for about 500 to 600 apartments, a Meijer store, restaurants and more.
