Mass Dispensing Drill Set For Wednesday

Event helps Health Department test its emergency plans.

If you see a bunch of cars near the Municipal Services building on W. Puetz Road tomorrow morning, here's why:

It's the Health Department's , designed to test its plan to provide medication during a disaster.

Participants will drive their cars through a controlled area at the Municipal Services building, 800 W. Puetz Road, and practice requesting and receiving medication. (No medication will actually be handed out.)

The drill will provide valuable information for future planning, according to a Health Department news release. It will be a timed event and test traffic flow, screening and dispensing stations, forms and communication.
