NDT Specialists Gets Go-Ahead For Oak Creek Facility
Company will open facility on Howell Avenue.
NDT Specialists' plans for a $1.5 million facility on Howell Avenue received approval from the Tuesday night with no objections.
The building at 7365 S. Howell Ave. will be 17,952 square feet and operate 24 hours a day with three shifts, according to a report to Plan Commission members. NDT has 22 employees now and plans to expand to 33, the report said.
NDT Specialists performs inspection services on various parts for a wide range of industries and manufacturers (Caterpillar, for example). Its locations in West Allis and Milwaukee would be combined under one roof in Oak Creek.
