Prosser Won Oak Creek By Wide Margin

State Supreme Court race was still too close to call mid-Wednesday morning.

The outcome of the state Supreme Court race was still too close to call Wednesday morning.

But while Justice David Prosser had difficulty in his bid for re-election, he had no problems in Oak Creek.

Prosser easily won the city with 60.9 percent of the vote (5,314 votes), compared to 39 percent for challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg (3,406 votes), according to unofficial results.

The results remain unofficial until certified by the Board of Canvassers, which meets today.

The Associated Press reported mid-Wednesday morning that Kloppenburg has a 140-vote lead over Prosser.
