Now Is Your Chance to Give Your Ideas on Lakefront

Oak Creek sets two events for March 3.

Residents have two chances Thursday to give their input to city officials before a project team begins to prepare site concepts.

From 2 to 5 p.m. at the , city staff members will be available to provide information on recent efforts.

This is an open-house style event; residents can drop in at any time to talk one-on-one with staff.

A short presentation will be held at 7 p.m. Small-group sessions, in which participants can share their visions of the lakefront, will follow.

The events Thursday are two of several opportunities the public will have to comment on lakefront redevelopment plans, according to a city news release.

The city has to redevelop its land near Lake Michigan, but officials are optimistic
