A Presidential Debate, OCHS-Style

State Rep. Jeff Stone and state Sen. Chris Larson will represent their parties at an Oct. 31 debate sponsored by Young Democrats and Young Republicans of Oak Creek High School.

Think Monday night was the last presidential debate of the year?

Oak Creek High School students will offer their own version of the presidential debate in an event featuring two local elected officials. 

Republican State Rep. Jeff Stone and Democratic State Sen. Chris Larson will represent their parties in the 2012 OCHS Great Presidential Debate, held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Oak Creek Community Center, 8580 S. Howell Ave.

The Young Democrats and Young Republicans of OCHS are sponsoring and moderating the debate, which is free and open to the public and will be followed by pizza and soda.

Larson's Senate district includes Oak Creek and areas north of the city along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Stone represents parts of nearby Franklin, Greendale and Greenfield.
