Defibrillators Will Be In Every Oak Creek School

School Board gives preliminary approval to health policy changes.

At least one defibrillator will be in every Oak Creek next school year under changes to the school district's student health services policy.

Defibrillators were in most school district buildings already, school officials said. The policy was discussed in an Oak Creek-Franklin School Board committee meeting Monday night and will go to the full board for approval later this summer.

Also last night, the board gave preliminary approval to two novels that will be used in English curriculum: The Life of Pi by Yann Martel and All The Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy.
