Edgewood Elementary Raises $8K With Walk-A-Thon

Edgewood Elementary students were joined by the mayor and the OCHS drum line for its first annual walk-a-thon Friday.

Edgewood students and families raised more than $8,500 for their school through a walk-a-thon held Friday on the Oak Creek High School track.

Students were joined by Oak Creek Mayor Steve Scaffidi, the high school drum line and Knightro, the OCHS mascot, as they walked a mile around the track.

The event was held to promote healthy lifestyles and exercise. Check out more photos on the Edgewood PTO Facebook page
