Meadowview Elementary Has New Principal

Melissa Rezner will replace Mark Weerts.

The Oak Creek-Franklin School Board on Monday accepted the resignation of Principal Mark Weerts and approved the promotion of Melissa Rezner to the position.

No reasons were given for Weerts' resignation. Rezner was previously a teacher at Oak Creek High School.Β

  • Rhonda Augstiniak, art teacher at East Middle School;
  • Mandie Barr, school district technology integration coordinator;
  • Kelley Berlin, school psychologist;
  • Nicole Birkel, special education teacher at Deerfield Elementary;
  • Kim Goelz, school district nurse;
  • Katherine Grissom, science teacher at the high school;
  • Catherine Steidl, before/after school program at Shepard Hills Elementary;
  • Courtney Susedik, before/after school program at Shepard Hills Elementary.

The board also accepted the retirement of Debra Hejdak, sixth-grade math teacher at West Middle School.

  • Ross Addler, special education at East Middle School;
  • Benjamin Bedroske, choral teacher at West Middle School;
  • Mary Jane Berndt, initial educator mentor/coach;
  • Julie Grabowski, limited-term kindergarten teacher at Meadowview Elementary;
  • Jeanne Lupo, computer science teacher at West Middle School;
  • David Swenson, technology education teacher at the high school.
