The Taste of Oak Creek is Served
About 10 local restaurants, cupcake wars and a new flavor of student-made soda highlighted the fourth-annual event at the Oak Creek Community Center.
So how does Oak Creek "taste"?
A sampling of local restaurants at Thursday's Taste of Oak Creek reveals some sort of a mix between pizza, wings, BBQ, sub sandwiches and Italian. Residents tasted that and more at the fourth-annual event, which benefits the Oak Creek-Franklin Education Foundation.
In addition to local restaurants, the evening also included a Cupcake Wars contest and a tasting of a new orange cream flavor of Knightro Fusion, the soda made by Oak Creek High School students.
