Wanted: Golfers For 'Slicing for Scholarships' Outing
Event raises money for MIB Oak Creek Band Scholarship Fund.
MIB Oak Creek Band Scholarship Fund, Inc. is looking for golfers for its first annual "Slicing for Scholarships" golf outing July 31 at Muskego Lakes Country Club.
The outing includes 18 holes of golf, cart, free range balls, hole contests, raffle prizes and a Texas BBQ lunch. More details can be found on the flyer, on the right hand side of this story.
Since 2004, the organization has given 94 Oak Creek High School students scholarship awards totaling $59,500, president Ed Senger said. These students went on to study aviation, medicine and everything in between.
