Another View on Oak Creek-Sheboygan Falls Matchup

The Knights square off against Sheboygan Falls on Friday in the state summer baseball semifinal. The winner plays for the state championship.

Sheboygan Press writer Garrett Renzelmann provides perspective from the side of the Oak Creek Knights' opponent in Friday's state semifinal baseball game, Sheboygan Falls.

In his column, Renzelmann notes the size difference between the high schools of Oak Creek (1,962 students) and Sheboygan Falls (557), and thus the larger pool of students the Knights draw from.Β 

The Knights square off against the Falcons at approximately 3:15 p.m. Friday at Kapco Park in Mequon. The winner will play that night against the winner of Germantown-Waukesha West.

As Renzelmann wrote, Germantown is one of two common opponents of the Falls and Oak Creek. The Knights beat Germantown 4-0, while the Falcons lost 6-5.
