Bay View Bash on Kinnickinnic September 17 11am to 10pm

Well it's that time of year again- when the Bay View community celebrates itself with all its might.  As usual, Kinnickinnic Avenue promises to be awash with local acts, organizations, vendors and, oh yes, the annual Strong Man Competition.

The 8th Annual Bay View Bash takes place on Saturday September 17, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.  You'll find the festivities between Potter and Clement on Kinnickinnic.  Bay View Bash is Milwaukee’s largest all-volunteer street festival.

Festival organizers are hoping to raise $3000 to donate to a local non-profit organization.

What's On For This Year

The Bash is featuring approximately 60 local vendors, selling (and in some cases, giving) food, information and merchandise.  Five stages will be hosting local talent back to back all day long.

New this year is the Dog walk, which begins at 11:00am at the South end of the Bash grounds. The theme for the Bash this year is “Rock N’ Regga, so keep that in mind when you pick out a costume for you or your dog.

The event is free to attend, although you may want to bring your wallet to partake in the goodies that are offered.  No carry-ins are permitted on the official Festival grounds.
