You’ll be entertained by the Garlic Mustard Pickers string and flute music.

Did you know that The Garlic Mustard Pickers grew out of a Grant Park weed out experience?  It seems that future members of the band were all in the same place at the same time (Grant Park, 2003), pulling the invasive weed in an effort to save the woodlands from destruction.  A conversation about music led to the formation of the band.  Picking the name was perhaps the easiest part of the experience.

Since the band’s inception, they’ve always donated profits to support worthy service projects going on on the Southside. As of November 2010, the band had given over $10K to local service projects.  On August 24, they’ll play for you as you celebrate the end of summer.
