Knights Are Conference Champs Again
Oak Creek in middle of school-record 18-game winning streak.
The Oak Creek High School baseball team has found itself in a familiar position: on top of the Greater Metro Conference.
The Knights clinched the outright crown on Tuesday by virtue of its 4-0 over Sussex Hamilton and Franklin's loss to Marquette. The title is the fifth for the Knights in the past seven years.
Oak Creek has now won a school-record 18 games and will go for No. 19 tonight in the regular-season finale against Menomonee Falls.

The Knights will be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, which begins Monday.
The state tournament begins July 19 when Oak Creek takes on St. Francis at Abendschein Park.
