Knights' Soccer Season Comes to an End

Marquette University High School beat Oak Creek 10-0 at sectionals Thursday night to bring the Knights' season to a close.

One of the best seasons in the history of the Oak Creek boys' soccer program came to an end Thursday.

Soccer powerhouse Marquette University High School dealt the Knights a 10-0 loss in the sectional semifinal to end Oak Creek's season. The Knights finish with a 12-5-3 record, while Marquette still has not lost this year, posting a record of 16-0-1 heading into the sectional final.

Still, it was a season to remember for the Knights.

They went unbeaten in their first nine games and came close to their first conference title in school history.

Last week, Oak Creek took the regional title with a thrilling shootout win over West Allis Hale.
